Jury Verdict in Gender Harassment Hostile Work Environment Case

Attorney James Sabatini secured a jury verdict on December 2, 2021 in a gender harassment hostile work environment case.  The case was tried in Connecticut federal court.  The jury awarded $100,000.00 in punitive damages and $10,000.00 for emotional pain and suffering.  The defendant never made a settlement offer. The case is entitled Champagne v. Columbia Dental, 3:18-cv-01390-VLB.  Defendant's Motion to Set Aside the Verdict was denied.  The application for the award of attorneys' fees is pending before the Court.
