Sabatini and Associates has defeated Delta Airlines' motion for summary judgment in a gender plus age employment discrimination case pending in Connecticut federal court. We represent three older women that were employed by Delta for years. The women were subjected to gender plus age discrimination following the arrival of a new supervisor. The discrimination culminated in their terminations. Their supervisor made discriminatory comments about older women. Delta did not terminate the employment of other employees who were not older females even though the employees had engaged in serious workplace misconduct. Based on the evidence presented, the federal judge ruled that there was sufficient evidence of discrimination to allow the case to go to trial. The case is now scheduled for jury trial.
